<p align="center">  </p> <p align="center"> </p> <p align="center"> </p> <p align="center"> </p> <p>After a courageous battle with cancer, Eric Chesley Earle passed away peacefully at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in the presence of his family on Tuesday, January 5th, 2016.  He will be forever loved and remembered by his devoted wife, Shirley, of 53 years; son, Eric (Sheila), cherished grandchildren: Adam and Angela; his siblings: Valetta Smith (James), Elizabeth Goodyear, Clarence (Sandra), James (Mary), Judy McCarthy; special aunt, Huldah Neil; brothers-in-law: Freeman Pafford (Shirley), Derek Pafford (Nancy), sisters-in-law: Olive Banfield (Don), Roxeen Myers (Al), Evelyn Dingwell; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Eric was predeceased by his parents: William and Ina (Billard) Earle; sister: Myrtis; Father and Mother-in-law Alfred and Martha Pafford; brother-in-law Samuel Goodyear. Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Marks Avenue on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 9<sup>th</sup> at 11:00 a.m. from the First United Church, Park Street with Reverend John van Vliet officiating.
