<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hilda Wall announces her passing at the Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 71. Born in Corner Brook, she was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Hazel (Francis) Figary. Hilda was the last surviving member of her immediate family.   She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters, Florence (Ed) Wall, Toronto, ON and Betty (Rolland) Wall, grandchildren, Curtis (Karen) LeRiche, Cordelia LeRiche (Dana Allen) , Megan LeRiche (Josh Bateman), Alysha Sosnowski-Wall, Emily Sosnowski-Wall, Braden Sosnowski-Wall and Lily Sosnowski-Wall, great grandchildren, Madison, Denzel, Dezmond, Jonah, Bentley, Dallas, Joel and Jacob, wide circle of family and friends. She was predeceased, by her husband, Wallace Wall, sister and brother-in-law, Florence (George) Fudge. Family and friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Port-aux-Basques on Friday, January 8 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 9 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 10 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Clayton Billard officiating, interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
