He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 37 years Mary (nee Byrne); children: Brian (Cindy), Judy (Leonard), Debbie (Terry), Kathleen (Doug) and Harold (Donna); grandchildren: Nancy, Kimberley, Matthew, Wendy, Allan, Karen, Frank, Chantel, Cullan, Stephen, Katie, Kody and Michael; 17 great-grandchildren; sister Stella; brothers: Fred (Lola), Hector (Vera) and Boyd (Ethel); special long time friend Pat Byrne; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Florence, sister-in-law Susie, brother-in-law Cyril and nephew Eric. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday and Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 13 at 3:30 p.m. from St. Ambrose Anglican Church, John’s Beach with Rev. Nelson Chatman officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium with interment at a later date.
