Obituary of Raymond Ira Best
<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Best&nbsp; announce his passing on Wednesday, February 24th, 2016 at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley Goose Bay at the age of 77 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Gladys; children: Phyllis (Byron) Butt, John (Fay), Richard (Christina), Hector (Brenda), Marvin (Diane) and Anthony; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; brothers: Franklin (Patricia), Judson (Nancy), Robert (Sandra), Peter (Joan); sisters: Julia, Cora (Rodney) and Jean (Klaus); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ira and Delphine Best, brother Leslie, sister-in-law Rose and brother-in-law Ian. Visitation will be held on Saturday , February 27th from 10 AM to 12 Noon from the United Church in North West River, from where the funeral service will held at 2:00 pm, followed by burial at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations maybe made to the NL Kidney Foundation.</p>
