PARSONS Robert Wilson January 19, 1917 - December 6, 2005 Deer Lake, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Wilson Parsons announce his passing on Tuesday, December 6th, 2005 at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook, in his 88th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Wilson (Mary) Parsons, Kitchener, ON, Alice (Arthur) Reid, Reidville, Mazie (Sylvester) Blank, Morden, NS, Mildred (Doug) Graves, Morden, NS, Henry (Rosemary) Parsons, Kitchener, ON, Chris Parsons, Kitchener, ON, Linda (Terry) Tower, Cornwall, PEI, Lillian (Keith) Brinkworth, Cornwall, ON, Loretta (Terry) Rowsell, Deer Lake, Rick Parsons, Deer Lake, Doreen (Truman) Osmond, Hampton; 43 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Mary Parsons and half-sister Lillian Pashur, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Ralph Parsons; parents Arthur and Martha Parsons; brothers: Sandy and Gilbert and sisters: Anne and Mazie. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake, Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 9th at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel with Captains Terry and Bonnie Hopkins officiating. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of one's choice.
