It is with great sadness that the family of the late Myrtle Rumbolt announce her passing on Tuesday, December 25th, 2007 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her six children: June (George) Krueger, Rose Power, Eugene (Wanda) Rumbolt, Myra (Chris) Lush, Wade Rumbolt and Maurice (Michelle) Rumbolt; 10 grandchildren: Jamie and Jeffery Krueger, Cory and Danica Power, Sylvia and Sheri Rumbolt, Jody and Jeremy Lush, William Rumbolt and Lisa Rumbolt Bryenton; six great grandchildren: Christopher Lush, Brianna Power, Logan and MacKenzie Krueger, Tristian Lush and Parker Goodyear; sisters: Mabel (Richard) Bishop , Margaret (John) Bennett and Gladys May; brother: Charlie May; sisters and brothers-in-law: Lovelett Rumbolt, Louise Rumbolt, Kate (Clayton) Organ, Max (Lucy) Rumbolt, as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by husband Gordon Rumbolt; son: Hughie Rumbolt; great grandson: Kyle Krueger and son-in-law: Max Power. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 28th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul’s United Church, Rev. Dr. Tony Newell officiating. Interment to follow at the United cemetery, Wight’s Road. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church Memorial Fund or to the charity of ones choice.
