It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edgar Lucy announce his passing on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 73 years.He will be sadly missed by his mother, Elizabeth Tooktoshina; daughters, Sherry and Sandra (Jeff); sons; Shawn (Lisa), Stanley (Judith,) Sam (Joanne) and Roy (Carla); grandchildren: Kelly, Kenny, Keshia, Kayla, Karla, Katherine, Kristina, Kimberly, Daniel, Jacob, Shawntelle, Brittany, Abbigail, Jeffrey, Katie and Kayla; 15 great grandchildren; brothers James (Madonna) and Ralph (Priscilla), Steve (Delphine), John, Melvin, Donald (Shirley), George (Maria) and Samuel (Christine); sisters, Joice (Ozwald), Susan (Winston), Myrtle (Herb) and Claris (David); as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Alma; step-father Steve and grandparents John Thomas and Mary Lucy andgreat-grand son; Riley Blake. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Monday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pentecostal Church with burial to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted.
