<p>With great sadness, the family of the late Ruby McLean Budgell of North West River announce her passing on March 21, 2016, at the age of 92, at the Long Term Care Facility in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Anne Budgell, Ronald Budgell (Jan Morrison), Richard Budgell, and Susan Budgell-Lyall (Ken Lyall), four beloved grandchildren: Jameson Lyall, Caitlin Lyall, Jacob Budgell and Sarah Budgell, her siblings Rhyna McLean, Alistair (Joan) McLean, and Ernie (Audrey) McLean, sisters-in-law Hazel McLean, Marian McLean, Margie McLean and a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was predeceased by her husband George Budgell, brothers Clarence, Max, Everett, Robert, and her sister Merle Roberts. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the United Church in North West River. Burial of ashes to be arranged at a later time.</p> <p>The family wishes to thank the staff at the Long Term Care Facility for their very professional and caring attention to our mother, especially in the last days of her life.</p> <p>In memoriam donations may be made to Them Days magazine or the United Church of North West River.</p>
