BAGGS Elizabeth (Wight) Steady Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Baggs announce her passing on Tuesday, December 6th, 2005 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in her 96th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sons: Bruce (Bud) and wife Greta, Steady Brook; Jon and partner Elizabeth, Corner Brook; daughter Ann Bell, St. John's; sons-in-law Ronald Piggott, Ontario and William Bell, Corner Brook. 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Brother Howard Wight and wife Eva, Deer Lake; Sisters-in-law Mima Wight, Deer Lake and Gwen Wight, Kirkland Lake, Ont. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Hedley Baggs, daughters Barbara Piggott, Picton, Ont. And Ruth (Toby) King, Toronto, her beloved grandson Michael Baggs, Steady Brook, sisters Mabel Eddy and Daisy Chynn, Deer Lake, brothers Norman Wight, Deer Lake and Walter Wight, Kirkland Lake, Ont. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook on Friday from the hours of 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 10th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Wayne Cole officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
