Reuben Harding Corner Brook, NL October 8, 1927 - January 1, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Reuben Harding announce his passing on Tuesday, January 1st, 2008 at the J.I. O’Connell Centre in Corner Brook at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his two sons: Brian (Shelly), Marystown, Bert (Eda), Lewisporte; five grandchildren: Beth, Robert, Keith, Nicole and Gavin; sister: Susannah (David) Warren; brother: Cecil (June) Harding; sister-in-law: Mildred (Jim) Bungay and brother-in-law Stewart Boone, all residing in Corner Brook; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents: Cecil and Julia Harding; wife: Maxine; sisters: Marion Boone and Amy Gillam. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday, 7-9, Thursday, 1-4 and 6-9:00 p.m., and on Friday, 10-12 noon. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4th at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Premier Drive. Majors Robert and Cassie Kean officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Daffodil Place. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
