GASH Ann Mary Corner Brook, NL April 18, 1929 – December 14, 2017 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ann Gash announce her passing on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at her family residence, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Carol (Bill) Elford, Brian, Marie (Karl) Adams, Helen (Gerry) Lougheed, Vicki Burton, Chris, Mark (Cathy), Paul, Regina, and Joseph (Kelly); grandchildren: Billy, Deanna, Shauna, Jim, Jason, Bobby, Brian, Bradley, Barbie, Mary-Ann, Megan, Connor, Jillian, Isaac, Monique, and Jake; great grand-children; daughter in-law: Bobbi; brother: Leo, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James, and sons Terry and Jim. The family would like to send a special Thank-You to the Palliative Care team especially Dr. Lafferty for making it possible for mom to have her last days at home and to her home care workers Amanda and Chantelle. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Sunday, December 17th from 7-9 p.m. and Monday, December 18th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place from Cathedral of The Most Holy Redeemer on Tuesday, December 19th at 10:00 a.m. with father Joe Gash and Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation 1037 Topsail Road Mt.
