<p><strong>Ena Mary Elkins</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>June 17, 1930 – April 15, 2016</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Ena Mary Elkins passed away peacefully, with her devoted husband Cort </p> <p>Elkins by her side, on April 15, 2016 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. </p> <p>Born in Mount Moriah, she was the daughter of Frank and Lucy Critch. </p> <p>She was predeceased by her eldest daughter Linda, her brother Allen, </p> <p>and her sister Roella (Peddle). She will be forever remembered, loved, </p> <p>and missed by her husband of 66 years, Cort, her daughter Gail (Alan) </p> <p>Edmunds, her son Barry (Debbie), and her four lovely granddaughters </p> <p>Andrea (Peter), Anna, Lindsey (David), and Amanda.</p> <p>Ena lived most of her life on Reid Street, dedicating her life to her family </p> <p>and friends. She met everyone with a smile and volunteered whenever </p> <p>she had the opportunity. Her family sends out their sincerest </p> <p>appreciation for the loving care provided by the staff at both Bungalow </p> <p>4 and Raspberry Road at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home. Their </p> <p>care, kindness, and love was a constant source of comfort for Ena’s </p> <p>family, both near and far. The family will be receiving friends at the </p> <p>Fillatre Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Sunday, April 17th between 2-4 pm and 7-9 </p> <p>pm. A celebration of Ena’s life will be held at the First United Church in </p> <p>Corner Brook on Monday April 18th at 1 pm, with Reverend Clayton </p> <p>Parsons officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
