<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Samuel Algeo Sr announces his passing on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at St. Claire Mercy Hospital, St. John’s with his daughter Patty by his side. Born in Russell, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Carl and Pearl (Cordell) Algeo. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 60 years, Marina (Baikie), children, Samuel Jr (Elke) Algeo, Great Falls, Montana, Denise Algeo, Amherst, NS, Patty (Perry) Cabot, Sherri (Darrin) Brewer, both of HV-GB, Dawn Algeo (Paul) Labrador City and Matthew Algeo (Melissa) Calgary, AB, 19 grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren, brothers, Lonnie and Gary and sister, Charlotte. He was predeceased by daughter, Celeste Algeo-Thompsen, grandson, Geoffery-Bernard Algeo, great granddaughter Samantha Josephine Algeo, sisters, Juanita, Gladys, Garnet, Irene.  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Happy Valley-Goose Bay on , Monday, April 25 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the </span><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span><span style="font-size: medium;">United Church.
