<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late David "Dave" Massie announces his passing on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Labrador Health Center, Happy Valley Goose Bay. Born in St. John’s, NL, he was the son of the late David and Sarah (Flowers) Massie. Dave leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 60 years, Hannah (Baikie), children, Marilyn (Fred) Saunders, Russ (Judy) Massie and Mike (Jo-Ann) Massie, grandchildren, Melissa, Renee, Christopher, Jonathan, Keshia, Alexandra "Ally", Tyler, Keith Hynes, sister, Irene O’Mara, brothers, Donald (Louise), Lloyd (Annette), Rick (Joan), Wayne (Ann) and Barry (Rita), sisters and brothers-in-laws, Alvina Mauer, Betty (Cliff) Lloyd and Tom (Fran) Baikie. Dave was predeceased by brothers, Ian, Jim and Doug, sister, Debbie, brother-in-law’s, Martin O’Mara, Russell Mauer, Stan Baike, Norman Baikie and sister-in-law’s, Ethel and Fiona.  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">In keeping with Dave’s wishes cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church. Inurnment to follow at United Cemetery.
