<p>It is with great loss and sadness that the family of Edmund Michael Hynes, formerly of Port au Choix and residing at St. Barbe manor for seniors in Port Saunders; announce his sudden passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the age of 75.</p> <p>He leaves to mourn Children: Coleen (Kerry) of Port Saunders NL, Darrell (Twila) of Thompson Manitoba, Glenda (Gerry) of Kippens NL, Elaine (Bram) Castor River NL; grandchildren: Braden, David, Michael, Aaron, Nicola, Christopher, Devon, Alexis; sister Mildred Rumbolt of Northern Retirement Home Port Saunders; special friends: Don Rumbolt (nephew), Wayne Pike; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.</p> <p>He was predeceased by wife Hilda, parents Charles and Charlotte Hynes, brothers: Abe, Gordon, Gerald, and Roy; sisters: Irene and Sarah.</p> <p>The family will accept relatives and friends at Fillatre's Funeral Home in Port au Choix on Saturday May 7th at 7-9 pm and Sunday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.  A family service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 7:30 pm.  Funeral service will be on Monday at 11:00 am at St. Theresa's RC Church Port au Choix with Father Raj officiating, interment will follow at the Interfaith Cemetery in Sandy Cove, NL.</p> <p>Friends may sign the guest book and leave messages of condolence or In Memorium donations to a charity of one's choice by visiting the website at www.fillatre.ca.
