<p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">Passed away peacefully at the age of 80 years after a courageous battle with cancer at her residence in Barachois Brook&nbsp; on May 7, 2016&nbsp; with her family at her side. Predeceased by her parents, William and Clara Goodyear(1980), her first husband Ellis Edmonds (1994) father of her children, Second husband Maxfield (Mackie) Fillatre (2011); Son Ronald (1999); Sisters Marguerite and Pearl, and brothers Ronald and Howard. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Arthur, Stephenville, Eric (Ida) Surrey, BC, Phillip (Cathy) Fort McMurray, Catherine (Terry) Barachois Brook,&nbsp; Pearl, Fort McMurray, Valerie (Dennis) Corner Brook, Maureen (Tony) Fort McMurray,&nbsp; Vivian (Shawn) Fort McMurray&nbsp; and daughter -in- law Betty, Edmonton; 18 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren; brothers Lloyd Goodyear (Grand Falls), Clifford (June)Goodyear ( S&rsquo;ville Crossing), Bill ( Massie) Goodyear, Stephenville, Gerald (Elaine) Goodyear, Sydney Nova Scotia, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.&nbsp; Born in Aguathuna May 7, 1936, Clara moved to Piccadilly with her family when she was 10 years old. After her first marriage she moved to Stephenville where she raised her family. She settled in Barachois Brook after her marriage to Mackie Fillatre. Clara always had a positive outlook on life and enjoyed it to the fullest.&nbsp; She especially enjoyed playing cards, fishing with her family and had a love for bingo and will be missed by her many bingo friends. The family would like to thank Dr. David Coleman, Dr. Sheila Lewis and especially Nurse Shirley Butt for your visits and gentle care of our Mom. We would also like to thank the so many friends and relatives for the kind help extended to us during this very difficult time. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing from 7:00 &ndash; 9:00 PM on Monday, May 9th&nbsp;and 2:00 &ndash; 4:00 p.m. &amp; 7:00 &ndash; 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 10th.&nbsp; Funeral Service will take place from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, St. George's at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday May 11, 2016 with Rev. Kris Gosse officiating. Inurnment will take place at Mount Patricia Cemetery, Corner Brook following cremation at a later date.&nbsp; Mom&rsquo;s favorite color was red and we welcome all to wear red in her honor. Flowers are graciously accepted or a donation may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society in Clara&rsquo;s memory.
