<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Chesley Collier announces his passing on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Center, with his loving family by his side at the age of 75. Born in Burgeo, he was the son of the late James and Harriett (Hatcher) Collier. Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories, daughters, Elizabeth (Jackie) Parsons, Rose Blanche and Kathy (Benjamin) Edmunds, Port-aux-Basques; son Freeman, Rose Blanche, sister, Betty (Andrew) Anderson, grandchildren, Savannah Parsons (Justin House), Adriana Edmunds (Scott Clarke), Kevin Parsons, Jordan Edmunds, Haley Parsons, great grandchildren, Keegan and Lukas Clarke and Cameron House and nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Chesley was predeceased by his wife, Effie, grandson, Devin Parsons.  Visitation will be held on Monday and Tuesday from St. Michael’s and All Angels, in Rose Blanche, with funeral service to be held on Wednesday, May 11 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael’s and All Angels, with Rev.  Jeffrey Petten officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle-aux-Morts Road. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
