<p>It is with great sadness the family of the late Robert Kennedy announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Monday, May 9, 2016 at the age of 80 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his devoted wife of 56 years, Shirley Kennedy (n&eacute;e Harding); his five daughters: Sheila Green (Garland), Wanda Walsh (Keith), Jacqueline Hampton (David), Kimberly Andrews (Terry), Sandra Hamilton (Paul); daughter by choice Cynthia Hepditch (Aidan); 11 grandchildren: Michael (Natasha), Kerry, Mitchel, Robert (Amy), Jeffrey (Meagan), Kayla, Terri-Lynn, Rebecca, Jonathan (Ashley), Milton, Matthew (Samatha); 5 great-grandchildren: Thomas, Jimmy, Karla, Mercedez and Trae; foster grandchildren: Paul and Brandon; sister Josephine (Pauline) Lavers; sisters-in-law: Marie Kennedy and Bessie Kennedy; Olive Harding, Harriet French, Bertha Harding; brother-in-law Donald Harding (Rosamond), Milton Harding (Judy), Wayne Harding (Gabby); extended family Elsie Burry, as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his two sons Kerry and Milton; parents Joseph and Josephine Kennedy; brothers Charles, Walter (Bessie), Leander, Steve, Mike, Bill &amp; Derrick; sister Sadie (Jack) Fitzpatrick and Ellen (Clarence) Burden; in-laws George and&nbsp; Loretta Maude Harding, Elizabeth (Stanley) Maynard, Thomas Harding, Mabel (Fred) Atwood, George Harding Jr.(Edith) and Adrian French. A special thank you to the staff of Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Dr. O&rsquo;Driscoll and his staff. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 13 at 10:30 a.m. from The Cathedral of The Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Daffodil Place or the Janeway Children&rsquo;s Hospital Foundation.
