It is with great sadness that the family of the late CLIFFORD GOODYEAR announce his sudden passing on Sunday, December 18th, 2005 at the Interfaith Home in his 87th year. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 17 years, Mary Goodyear, daughter Sandi Batt (David), son Robert Gillard; grandchildren Scott & Brandon Batt; sisters: Marguerite Shuman (Lawton), Marie Oxford, Paula Dewling (Lonz), brother Aubrey Goodyear, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Baxter & Amelia Goodyear. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 21st at 10:30 a.m. from The First United Church, Park Street Reverend Dr. Wayne Cole officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke foundation of Newfoundland & Labrador .
