<p align="center">Maurice "Moe"</p> <p align="center">Boland</p> <p align="center">Corner Brook, NL</p> <p align="center">February 18, 1943 – May 28, 2016</p> <p> </p> <p>It is with love and brokenness in our hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our loved one Maurice "Moe" Boland. Surrounded by his loving family, Moe lost his battle with cancer on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are his loving wife Uriel of 47 years; his devoted children, son Terry (Sherri) and daughter Cindy (Mark); sisters: Col Healey, Margie Pennell (Joe), Gertie Colson (Clarence), Trish Meade; brothers: Ronnie (Theresa), Michael (Margaret), Edward (Barbara); brother-in-law Leonard Doyle (Brenda); sisters-in-law Marcie (Doug Bennett), Betty Benoit (Bob); uncle Tom Payne (Olive) and many loving nieces and nephews; his four pawed companion Lola, whom he dearly loved. Predeceased by his parents Reginald and Vinie Boland, in-law Michael and Florence Doyle and brother-in-law Wayne Doyle. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 31 at 10:30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Monsignor Gale presiding. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Parish or the Canadian Cancer Society.
