ANN ONACZYSZYN STEPHENVILLE CROSSING, NL AUGUST 7, 1951 - JANUARY 5, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ann Onaczyszyn (nee: Downey) announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the age of 56 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Marsha Downey and grandson Brendan Downey of Stephenville Crossing; brothers: Dan, Richmond, BC, Maurice (Cynthia), Basil (Joan), Thomas (Dulcie), John (Tina), Brian (Marie) all of Stephenville Crossing; sisters: Claudia (John) Roach, Toronto, ON, Martha Reid (Tory), Leakey, TX , also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Onaczyszyn, parents James and Gertrude Downey, brothers: Raymond, Patrick, and Kevin; sisters: Marie Bennett and Frances Lucas. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home Stephenville Crossing on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from Church of the Assumption in Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday, January 9th at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street, Stephenville Crossing. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to The Cancer Society.
