<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Samuel Pink announce his passing on Monday, May 30,2016 at Mountain Hope Manor, Port-aux-Basques with his loving son by his side, at the age of 88.Born in Cape LaHune, Newfoundland he was the son of the late John and Hilda (Pink) Pink. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son, George (Sandra) Pink, grandchildren, Christopher and Caitlyn, brother, Claude Pink. He was predeceased by his wife, Gertie Pink, sister, Eileen, brothers, Hughie and George Pink. The family will be receiving friends&nbsp;at Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Port-aux-Basques on Wednesday, June 1<sup>st&nbsp;</sup>2-4 &amp; 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Clayton Billard officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Donations in Samuel&rsquo;s memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
