It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Wilson Toms announces his passing on Sunday December 17, 2017 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home at the age of 94. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son Mark (Bernice); his two granddaughters: Amanda (Kyle Hunter) and Stephanie (Jordan Brimner); his two great-granddaughters: Meika and Gemma Hunter; sister: Elenor Edison; brothers: Raymond (Jenny), Donald and James; as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 55 years Georgina Mary Toms, parents, Herbert and Maude Toms, parents-in-law Richard and Olive Shears; sister Gladys (William) Greene: sister-in-law Ruth Toms and brother-in-law Cyril Edison. Friends may visit St. Paul’s United Church, 17 Spruce Street in Deer Lake on Thursday, December 21 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 2pm with Reverend Myles Vardy officiating. Interment to take place at a later time.
