<p>It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Alice Fowler (nee Kelly) announce her sudden passing at the Health Sciences Center St John's, NL, on Thursday, June 9th 2016 at the age of 62.&nbsp; Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 40 years Walter Fowler, her children Brian (Amanda), Michelle (Dana), Peter, and Mark (Lanalee).&nbsp; Four Grandchildren Andrew, Sophia, Thomas, and Ashley, eight siblings William (Madelyn), Clara (Chris), Philomena (Richard), Adrian (Carmelita), Peggy (Jim), Eugene (Dorothy), Josephine (Peter), Patrick (Sadie).&nbsp; Also leaving to mourn, her Fowler family, a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives, special friends, and her Dots Bakery Family. Alice was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary Kelly, sisters Anna and Susie and brother Joe and Allister Fowler. &nbsp;Alice loved family and friends. &nbsp;She was an extraordinary seamstress from simple alterations to elaborate wedding gowns and everything in between.&nbsp; She spent many hours in her kitchen creating meals to feed the masses.&nbsp; Alice loved life and everything in it. A service will take place Tuesday, June 14th, 2016 at 10am at Our Lady of Labrador church, West St. Modeste, Labrador. Visitation will take place at St. John Evangelist Church, Capstan Island, Sunday June 12th 6 - 11pm Our Lady of Labrador Church, West St. Modeste, Monday 2 - 11pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Epilepsy Canada. Special Thanks to the Staff of Labrador Grenfell Heath Center, especially Laurie, and also to the staff of the ICU at the Health Sciences Center.</p>
