<p>The family of the late Nina Grant (Butt) regret to announce her passing on July 4, 2016 at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 91.&nbsp; Nina leaves to mourn her sons: John Jr. &amp; Karole of Rocky Harbour, Colin &amp; Kathleen of Sackville, Nova Scotia, Barry &amp; Carolyn of Corner Brook. Nina also leaves to mourn her grandchildren: Gregory, Tyler, Matthew, Sara (Colin Barry), Nicolas, Alex, Danny, and her great granddaughter Eve Barry; sisters: Lida (Reg Pretty), Sarnia, Ontario, Enid Pittman, Rocky Harbour; brother John Butt (Greta), Rocky Harbour; sister-in-law Rellie Butt, Rocky Harbour; brother-in-law Robert Grant, Corner Brook; sisters-in-law: Carrie Howard, USA, Jean Bullen-Hoffe, USA, Emily LeMessurier, Ontario. Aunt Nina also leaves behind a large number of nieces and nephews, and a large number of close friends. Nina was predeceased by her husband John Sr., son Neil, parents Matilda and John Butt, step father Edgar Laing, brother Stanley, sisters and brothers-in-law Harvey &amp; Hazel Gabriel, William &amp; Frances Grant, brothers-in-law Freeman Pittman, Robert LeMessurier, Karl Hoffe and James Howard; sister-in-law Anne Grant.&nbsp;The family would like to thank the staff and management of Mountain View House, Meadows where she resided for two years and also the staff of 3-D and Palliative Care Units of Western Memorial, and very special thanks to Dr. Young for his care over the years. She may not be with us any longer, but her unique sense of humour and unwavering love of her family will never be forgotten. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 7 at 11:00 a.m. from First United Church, Park Street with Rev. John van Vliet officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to First United Church Memorial Fund.
