It is with great sadness that the family of the late JOHN ALBERT FRANCIS announce his passing on Sunday, December 25th, 2005 at the O'Connell Centre in his 94th year. He will be sadly missed by his 7 children: Beatrice Peddle, John Francis (Emma), Linda Giles (Kevin), Gord Francis (Elaine), Delilah Francis (Derek), Harold Francis, Violet Francis (Frank); 27 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; sister Gertie Targett, sister-in-law Violet Johnson and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Lucretia (Louise) 1988, daughter Bertha Allan 1957, son Derek Francis 1987, sons-in-law Glenfield Peddle 2005, Wesley Ford 1981, Winston Pawley 1988. The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 29th at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street, Reverend Derek Thomas officiating followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. marks Avenue Tuesday & Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to All Saints Church, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
