IRENE SARAH LIDSTONE Hughes Brook, NL November 11th, 1924 - January 7th, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Irene Sarah Lidstone announce her passing on Monday, January 7th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 83 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Marie (George) Cunning, son Bruce (Ena), grandchildren: Jeffrey (Sherry), Brent (Vanessa), Glenn, Bradley (Lisa) and Beckie (Shane), one great-granddaughter Faith, brother Ernest (Sarah), sisters: Thelma, Nellie (Arthur), Vera (Wallace) and Florence, brother-in-law Jim (Vera), sisters-in-law: Valda (Doug) and June (Gerry). As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Giles and Mary, husband Clarence, brothers Bill and William, sisters Lillian and Violet. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook on Tuesday from the hours of 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 10th at 2:00 PM from Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Kathy Brett officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital 5th & 6th Floor Enhancement Committee.
