<p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alexander (Sandy) Payne announce his passing on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre in Botwood at the age of 95 years.&nbsp; Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son, Edward (Beatrice) Corner Brook, daughters Doreen (Gabe) Lavoie, Victoria BC, Bernice (Lee) Miller, Botwood, Una James, Halifax NS; grandchildren Stephen, Christopher, &nbsp;Annette, Marc , Shannon , Leanne ,Lynette ,Jennifer and Samantha ; brother, Lewis (Violet) Payne, Grand Bank, as well as a number of greatgrandchildren, other relatives and friends.&nbsp; He was predeceased by his wife, Bessie (nee Carter), daughter, Theresa, sister, Marion Kendall, parents, Andrew and Theresa (Fudge) Payne, and son-in-law, Earl James.&nbsp; &nbsp;Visitation will take place from St Boniface Anglican Church in Ramea on Monday followed by funeral service on Tuesday, August 16 at 2:00 pm.&nbsp; Rev. David Taylor officiating.&nbsp; Interment to follow at the church cemetery.&nbsp; </span></p>
