It is with great sadness that the family of the late John O’Dell announce his sudden passing at the family residence in West St. Modeste on Sunday, December 16th, 2007 at the age of 66 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories wife Josephine; children: Lucy (Thomas), Marilyn (Chris), Giles (Lisa), Angela (Craig), Zita (Curtis), Johnny (Sherri), Michael (Ruth Ann) and Glen (Terri); 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by parents Ronald and Katherine O’Dell and daughter Selina. Visitation took place at Our Lady of Labrador Church in West St. Modeste on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from where the Funeral Service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 21st, Fr. Tim Moriarity officiating. Interment followed at Our Lady of Labrador Church Cemetery in Pinware. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home Ltd., L’Anse au Loup.
