<p><strong>Hatcher</strong></p> <p><strong>Alma Jane</strong></p> <p><strong>Ramea, NL</strong></p> <p><strong>December 25, 1947 – August 22, 2016</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alma Jane Hatcher announce her passing on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 68 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Lawrence and her precious children: Kerry (Bonnie), Sherry-Lee Vallis (Daniel), Cavin (Annette), Kelly (Peggy); loving grandchildren: Chantal, Chandi, Ashley, Megan, Victoria, and Dalton; and great grand-children: Remiah, and Frankie-Lee; who has brought so much joy and comfort over the years. Brother: Cecil (Edith), Roy (Margaret Jane), and Henry (Mary); sister: Geraldine (Joseph); brother in-law: Duncan (Sarah); and a larger circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents: Jesse and Margaret Giles; parent’s in-law Joseph and Violet Hatcher and her very special friend Jean Carter. Alma was a loyal member of the Lioness Club, and a member of the Seniors Club, she was a very well-known friend of the community. Her smile and blue eyes would light up any room. She had a heart of gold and would cause laughter no matter where she went.  Her kindness will carry on in the hearts of all who knew her. Friends and relatives may visit St. Boniface Anglican Chapel, Ramea on Thursday, August 25<sup>th</sup> and Friday, August 26<sup>th</sup> from where funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 27<sup>th</sup> at 2:00 PM with Reverend David Taylor officiating. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
