It is with great sadness that the family of the late Laura Jane Martin announce her passing on Thursday, January 10th, 2008 at the Labrador Health Care Centre at the age of 76 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Wes, Viola (Ed) Lethbridge, Louise Martin-Williams, Hilda Martin (Dan) and Nicole (Greg) Lethbridge, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husband Leonard Martin, son Glenn Martin, sisters Winnie Noseworthy, Myrtle Pardy, son-in-law Peirson Williams and daughter-in-law Millie Martin. Friends visited Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Friday, January 11th between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 12th at 2:00 pm from the Anglican Church. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
