It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Colson announce his passing on Saturday, December 31st, 2005 at his family residence in St. George's at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories children: Calvin, Alberta; John (Emma), Shallop Cove; Carolyn SamSair, Ontario; Fred (Dale), Shallop Cove; Percy (Chris), Barachois Brook; Elaine Edmonds, Manitoba; Kenneth (Ruby), Ontario and Beverly Colson, Stephenville. 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Brothers: Gorden, Stephenville and Clyde, Seal Rocks, sister Effie Abbott, Seal Rocks. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Marjorie. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to St. Mary The Virgin Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
