<p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span lang="EN">Cormier, Joan Marie - passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her family on September 10, 2016 in Stephenville, NL at 56 years of age.</span></span></p> <p>A dearly loved wife, mother, nanny, daughter, sister and friend. Joan was pre-deceased by her son Sheldon Cormier, her father Harry Dove, mother Eva Kendall, sister-in-law Gladys Kendall and nephew Brian Kendall.</p> <p>She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Cyril Cormier, son Shawn Joseph (Nicki) Cormier, daughter Trina Ann (Mark) White and grandchildren: Isaiah, Luke, Alexis and Liam.</p> <p>Joan’s sisters and brothers will miss her dearly: Genevieve (Wayne), Eileen (Marcel) and Michael (Gladys deceased). Also leaving to mourn her passing, her father-in-law Edward Cormier, mother-in-law Yvonne Cormier and her many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.</p> <p>Joan was a very loving, caring, compassionate, kind hearted, strong and courageous woman. She will be missed by all who knew her.</p> <p>A celebration of Joan’s life will take place at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Flat Bay on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 7 - 9 p.m. with the funeral mass taking place on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.</p> <p>Flowers graciously accepted or donations can be made to a charity of ones’ choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.</p>
