<p align="center">Veronica "Tootsie" M.</p> <p align="center">Hearn</p> <p align="center">Corner Brook, NL</p> <p align="center">January 29, 1938 – September 12, 2016</p> <p> </p> <p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Veronica "Tootsie" Hearn announce her passing on Monday, September 12, 2016 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sister Helen FitzGerald; nieces and nephew: Maureen (Darryl), Kerry (Robert), Nora, Sheila, Darryl, Karen and Diane (Derek); great-niece Elise (Bernie) and Eli; great-nephews: Keith, Kyle, Evan and Corey; special friend Marilyn Coleman Bennett; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Lucy and James Hearn, sister Mary Murphy, brothers-in-law Walter Murphy and Ron FitzGerald, uncle George Fitzpatrick. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 15 at 10:30 a.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Father Andrew White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association.
