It is with great sadness that the family of the late Calvin Hynes announce his passing on December 31st, 2005 at the Health Science Centre in St. John's, NL at the age of 71 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 51 years, Jean; sons: Barrie (Iris), H.V.G.B., Sandy (Deborah), AB, Larry (Paula), H.V.G.B., Woodrow (Karen), Moncton, Paul (Lorna), Moncton; 10 grandchildren; brothers: Fred, Gerald, Elmo, Junior; sister Jeneta; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents Cecil and Dorothy Hynes and brother Clayton. Family and friends visited Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, on January 3rd, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 4th at 2:00 p.m. from the Pentecostal Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Gideon Bible Fund.
