<p><strong>Hicks</strong></p> <p><strong>Dorothy "Christine" </strong></p> <p><strong>Corner Brook, NL</strong></p> <p><strong>June 16, 1957 – September 27, 2016</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late <strong>Dorothy "Christine" Hicks</strong> announce her passing on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s at the age of 59 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Angela (John), Wayne (Nicole), and Adam (Kalia), grandson: Brody; siblings: George, Bill (Margaret), Doug (Enid), Iven (Sylvia), Keith, Terry (Kathy), Frank, Jeanetta (Rejean), and Sadie (Randy); brother in-law: Larry (Paula); sisters in-law: Fern, Catherine, Marilyn (Roy), Katherine (Todd); father in-law: Howard Hicks. She was predeceased by her husband Wayne Hicks in November 2015; parents: Dorothy and Ernest Power; brothers: Winston, Albert, mother in-law; Gwendolyn; sister in- law; Wilma and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday, from 7-9 PM, and Saturday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Humber United Church Clarence Street on Sunday, October 2<sup>nd</sup>, at 3:00 PM with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
