It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Crawford of Happy Valley-Goose Bay announce his passing at the Health Science Centre in St. John's on January 7th, 2006 at the age of 73 years. He will be sadly missed by his partner of 10 years, Sylvia Vincent; sons: Bernie (Barb), Gordie (Caroline); daughters: Joan (Pete Best), Carol Ann (Wade Wilcox) and Donna Stagg; 10 grandchildren: Richie, Janet, Andrew, James, Luke, Peter, Adam, Cameron, Kirsten and Katelin. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by wife Barbara (1994); parents: Stanley and Gladys Crawford. Family and friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, H.V.G.B. on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 11th at 2:00 p.m. from the Anglican Church. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
