<p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span lang="EN">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Matilda Parsons announce her passing on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center in Stephenville Crossing, NL at the age of 84 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her stepson Allan (Mary) Parsons; brother Kevin (Mary) Benoit as well as many nieces, nephews other family and friends. She is pre-deceased by her husband George; parents Joseph and Matilda Parsons; son Jack Benoit; and several brothers and sisters. The visitation will take place on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing. The funeral service will take place on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church in Stephenville Crossing with Rev. Ruby Carter officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Anglican Cemetery, Stephenville Crossing. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.</span></span></p>
