CHAFFEY EDWARD MAXWELL Stephenville Crossing, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Chaffey announce his passing at the Acadican Village, Stephenville on Friday, January 13th, 2006 at the age of 74. He leaves to mourn, brothers: Edgar, Edmonton, AB, Calvin (Adelaine), Mississauga, ON, Peter (Mary Ann), Stephenville Crossing; sisters: Cindy (Bert) Campbell, Montreal, Quebec, Marg (Danny) Efurd, California, USA, Marie Chaffey, Stephenville Crossing, Carol Simonoviche, Mississauga, ON.; brother-in-law: Harold Legge, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Margaret (nee Madore) Chaffey and by sister Vivian Legge. Visitation for friends was held on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing. The Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, January 16th 10:00 a.m. from the Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption, Stephenville Crossing, with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery, Brook Street. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
