RONALD FREDERICK CALLAHAN ST. GEORGE’S NOVEMBER 29, 1943 - JANUARY 18, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Ronald Frederick Callahan announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Friday, January 18, 2008 at the age of 64 years. He leaves to mourn his wife of 43 years Sadie (nee: White); daughter Claudette (Bill) of St. George’s; sons: David (Rhoda), D.J. (Shantelle) both of St. George’s, Ron Ogle (Kari) of Kentucky, USA, grandchildren: Parker Callahan, Jordan, Victoria, Josh, and Justin Ogle, Drew, Allie and Olivia Thompson; brother Doug (Sharron) from St. John’s as well as other family members, employees, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ron Sr. and Beatrice Callahan. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. The family will be receiving friends at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a Charity of ones choice.
