<p><span><span>Passed away peacefully at the Calder Health Center with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 16th, 2016, Muriel Spencer at the age of 77. </span></span><span><span>Muriel was the daughter of Gladys (Bagg)(Predeceased) and Alexander Barter (Predeceased); Sister of of Russell(Barbara) Barter and Gordon (Josephine) Barter (Predeceased). </span></span><span><span>Loving wife of the late John Spencer Sr., </span></span><span><span>Loving mother of John Jr (Doris), Ivan (Debbie), Elaine Allan (Doug), Roger (Sue-Ann) and  Alex (Hilary); </span></span><span><span>Grandchildren Shevonne (Shane) Brousseau, Candy (Jamie)Randall,Terri-Lynn (Brad) Lavers, </span></span><span><span>Roger Spencer, Matthew (Beverly) Spencer, Alexis Spencer and Blair Spencer; </span></span><span><span>Great grandchildren Shaney Brousseau, Chance Lavers, Sarah-Lynn Lavers; as well as a large circle </span></span><span><span>of nephews, neices, sisters-in law and brothers-in law. </span></span><span><span>Muriel was a very special person that is loved by her family very much. She will be missed by many. The family would like to send special thanks to all the nurses and staff of the Calder Health Center and her home care workers (Doris Macdonald, Marilyn Lushman, and Brenda Piercey) and anyone that came to visit while she was in the hospital. Friends may visit St. John The Evangelist Church, Burgeo on Thursday from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 18th at 2:00 p.m., Reverend Elsie Rose officiating. The interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.</span></span></p>
