LUCY IVERNIA BUTT Woody Point, NL June 10th, 1914 … January 19th, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lucy Butt announce her passing on Saturday, January 19th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 93 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: George (Emma) Butt, Corner Brook, Ivernia (Tom) Whynott, Massatuetts, Diana (Malcolm) McGregor, St. John’s, Lucy (Reginald) Parsons, Woody Point and Stan Butt, Woody Point; 12 grandchildren: Verna, Diana, Eric, Tom Jr., Cheryl, Robert, Bruce, Andrew, Stan, Kenneth, Christine, Stacey and 17 great-grandchildren, sister Linda Taylor, Woody Point. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband George Butt, parents Stephen and Lucy Tuff, grandson Shawn, brothers Jabez Leslie, Albert, Stephen and William, sisters Rosalie and Clara. Friends may visit the Church of the Epiphany, Woody Point on Sunday and Monday from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 22nd at 2:00 PM with Rev. Marilyn Moore officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Church of the Epiphany Memorial Fund.
