ADELINE BUTT ST. GEORGE’S APRIL 25, 1916 - JANUARY 20, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Adeline Butt (nee: Colombe) announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at the age of 91 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories sons: Brian, St. George’s, Keith (Marina) Clareville, NB, Fred (Shirley), St. George’s, Claude (Helen), Fort McMurray, AB, daughter: Marcia (Tim) White, Appin, ON; twelve grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; brother Peter (Eleanor); sister Alice (George) Baker as well as other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Wilbert Butt; parents Peter and Florence (nee: Blanchard) Colombe; brothers: Steve, Lesley, Leo, Edmund and Frank; sisters: Monica, Angela, Dorese, Florence and granddaughter Michelle Butt. . The family will be receiving friends at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Cremation will follow the service at Humber Valley Crematorium with Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery in St. George’s on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church Memorial Fund.
