<p><strong>LEE</strong><br /> <strong>Loretta Mary</strong><br /> <strong>St. Georges, NL</strong><br /> <strong>1922 - 2016</strong><br /> <br /> It is with great sadness that the family of the late <strong>Loretta Mary Lee</strong> announce her passing at her home in Shallop Cove on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at the age of 94 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving family: Laura (Kevin) Aylward, Elmer (Anna), Sylvia, George (Shirley), Ted (Ruth), Gerard (Regina), Tom (Stasia), Edith (John) Dwyer, Dave (Linda), Simeon, Jeffrey (Mary), Kenneth (Bernice), Danny (Verna), Rick (Russ), Toronto, Joe (Pam), Kevin; 53 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters Barbara Kovich, Isabel MacDonald, Magdalen Cochrane, Janet (Tom) Williford; sisters-in-law, Alice Young, Francis (Fanny) Young,&nbsp;Myrtle Lee and Madonna Young, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Jack, infant son Robert, daughter Eleanor (Joe) Hickey, grandchildren, Kelly, Robert, John and Donny, brothers Ivan, Ted, Fintan and Dougie and sisters Marie, Emma and Cecilia.</p>
<p>The family would like to especially acknowledge Bernice Lee for the kind and gentle loving care that she provided our mother throughout the duration of her illness.</p>
<p>Loretta was very active in her community and a devoted member of her church. Loretta's home was open to anyone who wanted to stop in for a visit and she always had a lunch ready. &nbsp;With her big heart and warm smile, she welcomed everyone.</p>
<p>Friends may visit St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church in St. George's on Tuesday, December 27, 7-9 p.m., Wednesday December 28, 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 29 at 2 p.m. with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove.</p>
<p>As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donation to Charity of one&rsquo;s choice. Funeral arrangement entrusted to Fillatres Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing.
