LEE John Albert “Jack” St. Georges, NL 1916 - 2006 It is with great sadness that the family of the late John (Jack) Lee announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Thursday, January 19th, 2006 at the age of 89 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, Loretta; 16 children: Laura (Kevin) Alyward, Elmer (Anna), Sylvia, George (Shirley), Ted (Ruth), Gerard, Tom (Stasia), Edith (John) Dwyer, Dave (Linda), Simeon, Jeffrey (Mary), Kenneth (Bernice), Danny (Verna), Rick, Toronto, Joe (Pam), Kevin, Calgary, AB; 53 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law Myrtle Lee, Stephenville; special family friends Russell McFawn and Sister Elizabeth Quinlan; sisters: Lydia (Clayton), Nova Scotia, Laura, St. John's; brothers: George (Corina), Stephenville, Tom, St. John's, Clyde, Fortune, Doug, Ontario, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his infant son Robert, daughter Eleanor,son-in-law Joseph Hickey, grandchildren Kelly Ann, Robert, John and Donald. Friends may visit St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in St. Georges on Friday 7-9,Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, January 23rd at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Joseph's Parish Memorial Fund or to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
