<p>It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Georgina Mary Toms announces her passing on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home. She is leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: her husband of 55years, Lloyd; her son Mark (Bernice); her two granddaughters: Amanda (Kyle Hunter) and Stephanie; her two great-granddaughters: Meika and Gemma Hunter; her siblings: Maxine Osmond, Austin Shears and Ben (Beatrice) Shears, as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Richard and Olive Shears and her siblings: Leila Janes, Sharon Rolls, Evelyn Tiller, Rick Shears and Rod Shears.  The family would like to say a special thank you to all the staff of the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home for the years of love and special care as well as to the staff of Fillatre’s Funeral Home for their compassion and kind guidance. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive in Deer Lake on Tuesday, January 17<sup>, </sup>2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Deer Lake on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 3pm with the Reverend Paulette Bugden officiating. Interment to take place at a later time.
