PETER LUSHMAN Sr. Burgeo, NL Sept. 25, 1924 - Jan. 28, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Peter Lushman Sr. announce his passing at the Calder Health Centre in Burgeo, on Monday, January 28th, 2008 at the age of 83 years. He will be sadly missed by his children: Peter Jr. (Rosie), Burgeo, David, with whom he resided in Burgeo, Mary (Claude) Janes, Pasadena; brothers: Steve (Alma), Jim (Clare), Jack; sister Elizabeth (Clayton) Dominey; grandchildren: Michelle, Shauna, David, Michael, Andrew; “buddy” Lester Greene, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Bessie (1968), daughter Jane, parents: Robert and Mary, brother Terrence and sister Violet. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 at St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo, from where the Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, January 30th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Interment will follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
