<p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span lang="EN">It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Bessie McLean announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 90 years. She will be always loved and missed by her daughter Olive (Leroy) Doering and her children: Leroy Sharbono, Todd Sharbono, Tonya Tharp; stepchildren: Kevin Doering, Trisha Isley; 17 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; her daughter Barbara Kolze and her children: Sandy Currier, Roger Kolze, Gary Kolze, Mark Kolze, Paul Kolze, Jay Kolze, David Kolze and 16 great-grandchildren; her daughter Eliza (Wilfred) McCarthy and her children: Tina McCarthy, Lisa Felker, Melissa McCarthy; 2 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; her son Robert (Dolores) McLean and his children: Tammy Frampton, April Burns, stepson Vincent Russell and 8 grandchildren; brother James Garland and a large circle of other family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband Otis McLean; parents James & Mary Ellen Garland; grandson Robert McLean; one granddaughter; son-in-law Roger Kolze; brothers: George, Percy; sisters: Myrtle, May, Alice and Jane. To honor and respect Bessie’s wishes cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena, NL. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL on Sunday, February 12, 2017 between the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in St. George’s, NL with Rev. Ruby Carter officiating. Inurnment in the Church Cemetery will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to The Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation.
