<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late <strong>Bruce Hancock</strong> announce his passing on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 67 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and Loving memories his wife of 37 years Dolores; son: Donnie &amp; wife Erica; siblings: Joyce (Peggy), Edward (Carol), James, Judy, Evelyn (Ivan), Bernice (Fergus), and Elaine; sisters and brothers-in-law: Art (Shirley), Dinah (Bert), Gord (Ruby), Rowena (Junior), Verna (Ron), Katherine (Ed), Marilyn (Harold), Ray (Debbie), Wayne and Alma (Reg); and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Leonard and Mary Hancock; brother: Brian; parents-in-law: Victor and Mary Hull, and his best friend Don Hatcher 51 years ago. Bruce was very active in the St. John the Evangelist Men&rsquo;s Service Club and was on the executive for 30 years, President for over 25 years. He was also involved in the softball and broomball leagues and served on the executive of both organizations.&nbsp; Through the years while he was coaching and running the team, he was very adamant about equal playing time of all players, despite their skill level.&nbsp; If the team was going to win, it had to be with all the players.&nbsp; Despite all of his illness, he remained a very witty and positive person. &nbsp;Visitation will take from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday, February 20<sup>th</sup>from 7-9 PM &amp; Tuesday, February 21<sup>st</sup> from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will take place from Cathedral of&nbsp;St. John The Evangelist on Wednesday, February 22 at 2:00 PM with The Very Reverend Baxter D. Park officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church Fund.
