JOSEPH WILLIAM YOUNG BARACHOIS BROOK, NL SEPTEMBER 10, 1947 - JANUARY 30, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Joseph William Young announce his passing at the family residence in Barachois Brook on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the age of 60 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Linda (nee: Colson-Abbott); children: David, Barachois Brook, Deanna (Brian Chant), St. George’s, Marlene, Corner Brook; step-child: Donna Bennett, St. George’s; ex-wife Mildred Young and step-son Georgie Stone; one step-grandchild; brothers: Jim, Allen, Roger, Hilary, Collin, Terry Young, and James Fitzpatrick; sisters: Shirley and Vera, special friend Don Gale, as well as other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Eunice Young and brother Ron. The family will be receiving friends at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Thursday beginning at 3:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with Father John Collins officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a Charity of ones choice.
